US: Shelly Fire In Siskiyou County, CA Burns More Than 3,000 Acres

The Shelly Fire, a brush fire that erupted in Siskiyou County Klamath National Forest on July 3, has now burned more than 3,000 acres as of Monday, July 8 with 0% containment. Hikers and residents near the towns of Etna and Fort Jones were evacuated.
